Role And Responsibility (Must be a Doctor of Chiropractic)
The Sr. Manager of Chiropractic Education and Relations is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing educational programs and initiatives for chiropractic professionals within The Joint Chiropractic. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with chiropractic schools, professional associations, and other relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chiropractic care, excellent communication skills, the ability to influence others (both chiropractors and non-chiropractors), and a passion for promoting high standards of education and professional development within the chiropractic community.
Additionally, this role will need to be able to work well with a large variety of professionals in numerous departments and disciplines within the business with a tactful and strategic approach.
This position requires a flexible individual who is able to quickly pivot and make changes to plans to meet the ever changing demands of the business. Many ad-hoc projects and assignments will occur.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Educational Program Development
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Operations and owner of all DC materials/content (this includes the creation of new materials as well as ensuring all existing content is up-to-date, evidence-based, and aligned with industry standards and company best practices).
- Work closely with the Training & Development Team on the production and accuracy of all clinical content.
- Facilitate doctor specific training to all new franchise owners and any existing owner/operations manager needing additional training.
- Resolve problems, identify trends, and determine process improvements measures.
- Ensure projects are designed, implemented, and conducted in the best interest of the clinics, patients, and brand.
- Lead and/or assist with training in classroom settings, one-on-one, meetings, webinars, conferences and workshops ranging up to 300 participants.
- Support Field Operations with ongoing training for both continuous education and problem performing clinics/markets.
- Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks such as the consistent maintenance/updating of company operation manuals and training materials, field communication, etc.
- Leads and manages the Preceptorship Program. This includes the ongoing maintenance, continuous improvement, and communications relevant to the program.
- Manage CE opportunities (may include partnerships with vendors), creating and publishing content.
- Relationship Management & Community Outreach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with chiropractic schools, professional associations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between organizations, external partners and internal partners to facilitate collaboration and support for educational initiatives.
- Represent The Joint Chiropractic at conferences, meetings, and other events.
- Coordinate and conduct workshops, seminars, and webinars to chiropractic professionals and students.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and advancement in chiropractic education and practice.
- Work with Marketing and HR departments to create engaging content for consumers and and potential DC employees.
Preferred Experience / Skill sets
- 5+ years conducting patient care
- 2+ years of clinical experience or oversight with The Joint Chiropractic
- 2+ years of clinical leadership, responsible for training and performance
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Public speaking and presentation abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven track record in creating, delivering, and programs successfully with measurable results in fast paced environments
- Strong ability to represent concepts, as well as summarize and communicate complex ideas into curriculum
- Ability to lead and influence others without direct authority
- Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with crossfunctional areas of the business
- Ability to manage a budget
- Ability to be flexible to business needs and adjust/compromise plans as needed
Certifications/licenses
- Valid DC license or ability to gain a valid license in applicable state
- Fully eligible for malpractice insurance in applicable state
