Training and Development Manager

*This position sits in our corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ. No relocation package is offered*

Scope of Responsibilities:
Oversee the development of all training and communication to the corporate and franchise clinics, owners and managers regarding The Joint culture and operational expectations. This includes all on-boarding training for wellness coordinator and doctor new hires (franchise and corporate), new franchise owner training, monthly corporate newsletter and management of the learning management system. Support the helpdesk team in answering operational questions from the clinics and franchise owners.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Training (70 %)

  • Creating, updating and maintaining an up to date library of manuals, tools and other resources used in the training and development of the network as required.
  • Managing the process of coordinating the logistics, creating the content and facilitating the Franchisee Training Program.
  • Managing the process of updating the training materials and communicating the changes to the network.
  • Conducting classroom and field training on an on-going basis.
  • Leading the process of the logistics, planning, organization and implementation of conferences and other activities where corporate headquarters is involved with. 

Operational Support (25%)

Developing a monthly network wide communication, sharing developments from The Joint Corp, what is coming up in the network, highlighting stellar clinic performance, best practices and tasks to complete at the clinic and owner level.

  • Assisting HelpDesk team in answering and resolving operational questions and issues from the clinics and franchise owners.
  • •Develop and execute on communication plans for operational changes, such as price changes, new operational procedures and updated policies & procedures
  • Manage and update the Operations Manual and Operating Standards, updating as appropriate to meet operational standards. This includes all policies and standard operating procedures.

Administrative / Communication (5%)

  • Establishing and maintaining a productive relationship with all Franchisees through continual and productive communication. As necessary, act as a liaison of information between the network and the corporate headquarters beyond what is outlined above.
  • Participating in regular corporate staff meetings as scheduled from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a retail and/or franchise environment
  • Minimum of 5-7 years corporate training and development with an OPERATIONAL focus, NOT Human Resources.
